Since its beginnings, Japet Medical has wanted to combine French know-how and europeans for its Japet.W exoskeleton. From textiles, to actuators, to assembly, French and European companies are honored in its design.

Japet Medical introduces you to steps for manufacturing a Japet.W exoskeleton made in France.

Electronics, essential for an active exoskeleton

The manufacture of the Japet.W exoskeleton begins in the premises of Japet, in Lille, in the north of France.

Once the documents have been received and found to be in conformity, the first step is to assemble the HMI parts, Home Machine Interface. Designed in the United Kingdom, the parts are assembled by our technicians and engineers to form a remote control, capable of turning on the exoskeleton.

When this assembly is complete, it is the turn of the electronic part to be designed in-house by our mechatronic systems technician.

Textile, a French know-how in the North Basin

France is renowned for its cultural wealth around the world, but also for its textile industry with ancestral know-how. The mastery of fabrics, raw materials and craftsmanship make it a guarantee of quality.

This is especially in the North of France, a region recognized for its expertise in textile production, that our Japet exoskeleton is assembled with its electronic system.

Germany, recognized for the reliability of its engines

Recognized for the”Deutsche Qualität”, the German engines are known to be among the best. This is why Japet turned to Germany for its exoskeleton.

In its workshop, the Japet team assembles the actuators composed of the German motor, which make it possible to accompany movements and relieve lower back pain.

The Japet.W exoskeleton and its packaging

After assembling the actuators with the textile and electronic part, a Phase test allows the design of the Japet.W exoskeleton to be validated. It can thus be placed in its packaging, composed of a charger, two batteries from Germany, two extension cords, a spray and a user guide.
